Your First Visit

Plan on about an hour. Here's how it goes, so you know what to expect before you walk in.

Paperwork

When you arrive, we'll ask you to fill out a health history form. It tells us about your health and what brought you in.

Consultation

You'll sit down with Dr. Brett and talk through what's going on and what you want to get back to doing.

Exam and X-rays

Dr. Brett does a chiropractic exam along with standard neurological, orthopedic and posture tests. Depending on your condition, we may take X-rays to check for anything serious and to help plan your care. Nothing is done without your OK.

Your plan and first adjustment

Dr. Brett goes over what he found and answers your questions: how we can help, how long it may take, and what it will cost. If something needs another provider, he'll tell you and refer you out. Most people get their first adjustment the same day. Treatment can also include therapy or massage, and you can tell us what you're comfortable with at any point.

Care at home

Before you leave, you may get a few things to do at home, like ice or heat, positions or activities to avoid for now, and simple stretches or exercises.

Good to know

  • You don't need a referral.
  • We accept most health insurance plans, Medicare, auto accident insurance and workers' comp. Call and we'll check your coverage before your first visit.
  • Parking is easy, and there's a sidewalk right to the front door with no stairs.
